About the Collection Tecnolumen Bulo
The Bulo spherical light was designed in 2010 by Oliver Niewiadomski. It attracts the eye and captivates with a futurist design and subtle details while providing a dimmable, glare-free LED illumination. The at first sight seemingly simple ball-shape emerges as wonderfully complex and reveals new details and effects from every angle of view.
The collection comprises a suspension for downwards directed light, a table lamp and the larger Bulo XL floor lamp which are steerable on the ring-shaped base and direct their light obliquely upwards. They accentuate rooms' corners and set indirect lighting accents if needed.
Bulo's ball-shape consists of aluminium lamellae arranged at regular distances from each other. There is a cylindrical diffuser inside which contains the integrated LED lamps. The light passes partly between the aluminium lamellae but is mostly directed to the front and downwards, where there is a glass cover to ensure a glare-free light.
Bulo features warmwhite integrated LEDs and is made of aluminium, acrylic and satined glass.
