The Accordéon lights by Slamp are an elegant and richly evocative design by Marc Sadler who explores the possibilities of the synthetics, specially developed by Slamp. The collection comprises two suspensions with slender or broad shades, a table lamp with luminous base and a rechargeable LED table lamp with a delicate metallic structure. Lentiflex, Goldflex and Steelflex, offering various optical properties and surfaces are the materials used depending on the model and version. The synthetics is shapable when warm and is turned into a pleated light shade by hand. Each exemplar is a unique piece with a unique fall of the folds, reminiscent of textiles or of the bellows of an accordion. The light is distributed evenly, while the shimmering shade's material is eyecatching.
