About the Collection Serien Lighting Reef
The Reef lights by Serien Lighting are ideal light sources for the home and are available as wall lamps, suspensions and ceiling lamps. The unusual material of the cylindrical shade - white ceramics - lends an unmistakable character to the Reef lights by Serien Lighting. The organic structure is reminiscent of whinstone or of the (coral) reef it is named after.
The lights in the series Reef by Serien Lighting appeal with a particular lighting effect, which is both intense and entirely glare-free. The porous surface spreads the light softly and provides a warm and vivacious shine. At the same time the light shines directly downwards, in a broad and shadowless angle through the shade's aperture.
The Reef shade is conveniently easily removable and withstands even a cleaning in the dish-washer. The Reef suspensions are also available with one or more light heads which adapt to the size of a given dining or working table. The structure is always in brushed aluminum. The Reef 1 single suspension is also available with a polished aluminum structure.
The Reef collection's extraordinary design was created by next space and was awarded diverse prizes, such as the famous red dot design award 2004 for its product design and the design prize of the federal Republic of Germany 2004.
