The Owalo LED light fixtures are distinguished by the shade's narrow, oval shape. Like all the lights by the Finnish label Secto, this one is hand-made of birch wood slats which filter the light sideways. The shade is closed at the bottom by a diffuser of acrylic glass, so that the light is glare-free and homogenously distributed downwards.
The collection includes a table lamp, a floor lamp and a wall lamp, which can serve as a reading light on the desk and next to the bed. The suspension is suitable for the illumination of rectangular dining tables.
The wood comes from PEFC certified forest management and is optionally available with natural or veneered or laminated external face. The light structure is made of metal and is covered with structure lacquering in white or black, matching the wood's colour.
