The wall and ceiling lamp Kuulto by Secto Design appeals with dimmable LED light and a unique design, uniting a clear geometrical pattern and natural wood. Thanks to a flat shape, Kuulto can also serve in narrow and lower rooms. It is available in two sizes and in a choice of four wooden versions.
Kuulto consists of an acrylic diffuser, a discreet white lacquered metallic structure and a decorative wooden grid, hand-made of pressed birch plywood. Depending on the version, it is laminated, veneered or natural. The light fixture is square, yet softly convex like a textile shade, a shape which is stylishly emphasized by the parallel and perpendicularly running wooden slats.
With Kuulto, Secto's creative director Seppo Koho created for the first time a wooden light fixture in typical Secto style to be directly installed on the wall or ceiling. Although structure and diffuser are made of conventional material such as metal and synthetics, it is especially the natural wood which impacts on the light's character and lends it scarcity value. The appealing light can be arranged singly but also modularly, and harmoniously adapts to the room.
