Like every light fixture by the Scandinavian design label, Aspiro has a shade of pressed birch plywood. A single, narrow slat is turned into a spiral, which takes the shape of a threedimensional dome only thanks to its own gravity and weight. Height and shape of the shade can be varied, by pushing a metallic weight on the lower ring. The LEDs are located in a black lacquered metallic structure with acrylic diffuser. The light shines downwards, escapes yet sideways through the spaces in the spiral. The light can be adjusted at three brightness levels.
