About the Collection Ribag Metron
Metron is a modular LED lighting system by Ribag. Daniel Kübler designed the collection as versatile lighting modules, with which it is possible to create unique lighting concepts. Metron has many variants, is functional, highly aesthetical and can be mounted easily thanks to a patented quick mounting system.
The light fixtures for surface mounting feature diverse lengths and colours, are optionally dimmable or switchable and spread a pleasant, diffuse direct light onto the wall and ceiling. It is possible to mount it as a suspension with the aid of a separately available suspension set. A wall lamp with reflector complements the collection.
The rectangular light body consists of extruded aluminium, the diffuser is made of opaline white synthetic glass. The formal language is geometrical and clear, and Metron's colours adapt to many interiors and discreetly blend in with a room's architecture.
The high protection index prevents insects' or dust's intrusion. Many models are, depending on the mounting, also protected against sprayed water and suitable for wet rooms.
Metron was awarded the iF Design Award 2016 and the Iconic Award: Interior Innovation 2016.
