pulpo was founded in 2006 by Ursula and Patrick L'hoste as a design brand at the interface between form and material. Pulpo's concept is to process lamps, furniture and accessories according to the designer's choice. The company's focus is on collaborating with up-and-coming designers and selected manufacturers, with the nature of the material forming the basis for the evaluation. Materials such as ceramics, stone and above all glass, which have been the focus of pulpo since 2013. The pulpo philosophy goes back to the idea of “carte blanche”. pulpo's designers and artists develop their designs freely and experimentally. A variety of materials and a soft spot for structures are pulpo's strengths. Pulpo's headquarters are in Weil am Rhein, near the Swiss border. Consisting of the creative and sales department, the warehouse and logistics, this is the think tank for pulpo's artists and designers.
