Penta
Glo Collection

Design by Carlo Colombo

The lights Glo are true icons in the Penta light portfolio, designed in 2009 by Carlo Colombo. The extended collection comprises diverse kinds of light fixtures, several sizes and a great variety of colour versions. The spherical glass diffuser reflects its surroundings and creates a fantastic interplay between light fixture, light and room.

The glass is transparent and coloured or reflecting and metallized. There is a conical glass diffuser inside that directs the light in one direction and spreads it diffusely in the room. Regarding the metallized versions, it is visible when the light is turned on. The result is a versatile illumination and a fascinating object creating a mysterious, nealy unreal glow. Harmonious, soft shapes determine the contour of the Glo lights. The glass ball is tapered into a slender tip. The suspensions have their cable at the end of the tip, while the floor lamp, the wall lamp and the table lamp have their cable seamlessly running in the holding structure.

Glo is made of chromed metal and borosilicate glass. The internal diffuser is sand-blasted in matt. The suspensions direct the light directly downwards. With the floor lamp, wall lamp and table lamp, the diffuser directs its light indirectly upwards.

Please, note that the Glo lights must be used exclusively with LED lamps.
