The Solis pendant lights by Pablo Designs were designed by Carmine Deganello in 2009/2010. The collection includes pendant lamps in different sizes and in three neutral colors that can also be hung on the wall.
The diffuser consists of long textile strips that are stretched between two steel rings solely by gravity. A delicate lattice is created that deglares the light and throws a pattern of rays of light and shadow into the room. The diffuser itself has an archetypal, slightly conical shape that is reminiscent of a column and emphasizes the height of the room. The textile strips are made of fire-retardant polyester.
The Solis pendant lights can be ceiling mounted or installed as a wall light with a short arm, adorning empty walls or corners of a room with its dramatic shadow cast and understated beauty.
