About the Collection Oluce Ilo
The Ilo wall lamps and suspensions by David Lopez Quincoces for Oluce from the year 2019 shine with minimalist elegance and their noble character is emphasized by the anodized surface in bronze.
A slender, linear aluminium rod serves as a light body for every Ilo model and is equipped with integrated LEDs which spread an especially warm white light.
The Ilo wall lamp's rod is connected to the square, black wall base with a very short arm. The light stem can rotate by 90 degrees, offering several options in terms of light direction.
The Ilo suspension is available both as a horizontal suspension and as a vertical suspension. The vertical version has a shorter aluminium rod and the suspension which is a steel cable reaches from ceiling to floor. The power supply comes from below and there is a black, cylindrical metallic base serving as a stabilizing weight on the floor. This model of Oluce Ilo provides pleasant, indirect ambient light in the living space.
The horizontal version has a length of 190 cm, and stands in a harmonious contrast to the very thin profile. The profile features two colours. Beside the part lacquered with anodized bronze, the shorter one is black. Ilo 487 is ideally suited for the illumination of larger dining tables or conference tables.
The models in the Oluce Ilo collection were already awarded with the German Design Award 2020 and with the Archiproducts Design Awards 2019 and 2020.
