Oluce Coupé - function paired with beautiful shape
Coupé by Oluce appeals with a timeless design which has lost none of its charm after 50 years, and is still one of the most popular Oluce lights. At the end of the filigreed light stem of shiny chromed metal, bent or straight depending on the model, there is a light head which is adjustable by means of a smart mechanism.
Because of its filigreed, flexible shape and variable light direction, the wall and floor lamps Coupé are suitable for the illumination of dining areas or living rooms' corners. They provide a direct, warm white light which shines in several directions: upwards, downwards and sideways. The floor lamps Coupé 3320/R and 3321 appeal especially as a reading lamp next to the couch.
The Coupé table lamps can serve as a reading lamp on the bedside table or as a side table. They have a round base and a height-adjustable shade with light stem in refined chrome. Since 2021 the Coupé table lamp is also available in smaller dimensions. The Mini Coupé enables further uses, for example on smaller desks. Appealing, modern, lacquered surfaces in colour create fresh, thrilling accents.
Designed by pioneer designer Joe Colombo in 1967, Coupé was awarded the renowned "International Design Award" by the American Institute of Interior Designers in Chicago in 1968. Coupé is included in the permanent collection of the MoMA in New York, and is also exhibited in the "New collection" in the Kunstareal in Munich, Germany.
