About the Collection Oligo Paläo
The LED suspension Paläo by Oligo is a modern lighting object with versatile illumination downwards and upwards. It was awarded the Good Design Award 2016.
The light body consists of precisely wrought aluminium with a acrylic diffuser with large surface on the underside and additional small diffusers on the top. Besides, there are fourteen elements standing vertically, made of transparent, prismatic patterned acrylic, which are softly illuminated, are overlaid depending on the viewpoint and create fascinating effects.
There are sensors for the gesture control on both ends of the light body which serve for switching on and off or dimming the whole light fixture. Additional functions can be used via Casambi: uplight and downlight can be controlled separately and the colour temperature can be modified (Tunable White). Besides, both sensors of the gesture control can have functions of the Casambi app or several light fixtures can be controlled in groups.
