About the Collection Northern Circle
Circle by Northern is a suspension which immediately catches the eye, although its shape is sober and totally unobtrusive. The slender light body consists of metal lacquered in dark grey and is only slightly broader as the electrical cable from which it seems to seamlessly grow. It merges into a simple, perfectly round ring and ends downwards in a slender, vertical stem which produces the impression of a visual extension of the cable and ends below in a lamp socket.
Because of its minimalist shape, the light body is purely decorative. The lamp located below is "naked" and its lighting effect is not impacted. Actually, the ring-like body can be seen as part of the suspension because of its slender shape. It is the reason why Circle astonished and fascinates.
In modern rooms furnished in a minimalistic style, Circle sets a concise, graphical accent. As a single light, it convinces with clearness and efficiency, while a cluster composed of several lights can create more complex, geometrical shapes and patterns which have a different appearance depending on the perspective and create an irresistible eyecatcher.
