About the Collection Northern Balancer
Balancer by Northern is a floor lamp with a strong character that has also been available as a wall lamp since 2020.
The shape of the floor lamp is both archetypal and extraordinarily modern, because the classic structure of a floor lamp was reproduced here with the help of simple geometric shapes: the base is a simple cylinder, the lamp head a sphere, half of metal and half of glass. The rod and arms are simple, no-frills tubes; a curved metal arch gives the arm its mobility. The Balancer Wall has a long, adjustable metal arm that can be moved horizontally and vertically.
The white glass diffuser provides a glare-free and pleasant light that creates a cozy atmosphere. As it can be set higher or lower as required, and the hemispherical shade directs the light to the side and down, Balancer is also suitable as a reading light next to the armchair or sofa.
"Balancer" alludes to the fact that balance, the equilibrium between head and body, plays the main role here. With its concise shape without superfluous details, Balancer fits particularly well into modern and minimalist interiors.
