Northern
Acorn Collection

The shape of the Acorn light by Northern is immediately recognized as an oak cap or cupule, from the large shade's rounded edges up to the narrow tip. The chosen materials underline the close relationship to nature and vegetation, because the tip is made of naturally veined wood.

Originally, Atle Tveit designed Acorn as a suspension, but meanwhile it is available as a floor lamp, featuring a pull-switch and a simple metallic structure which complement the iconical light shade.

Acorn is made of lacquered metal. The shade is made of aluminium and always has a white inner side. A cable in matching colour and the wooden shade's tip stylishly complement the design. Two different wooden tips - made of light beech or of dark wallnut wood - are comprised in the delivery and can be exchanged to meet personal tastes.
