Winglet CL by Nimbus is a cable-free LED wall lamp with numerous functions which offer many uses. It is dimmable, has a movement and brightness detector and is equippped with a radio module which enables to switch several Winglet exemples in series.
Winglet is a design by Rupert Kopp which was awarded the German Design Award in 2018.
The small, elegant LED light's body is made of synthetics and appeals with a simple shape. Rectangular and flat with an oblique "bend" to the front, Winglet discreetly adapts in the room and has a decorative appearance.
The light body's upper part which is bent to the front features an acrylic diffuser, which emits light in both directions. 45% of the light shines against the wall to the back and 55% directly in the room, obliquely to the front. It is possible to use Winglet as an uplight or as downlight, only by shifting its position anytime when desired.
Winglet provides warm white LED light with a very good colour rendering. The light can be conveniously dimmed and turned on/off with the switch located on the body's front.
Besides Winglet offers additional functions with which individual lighting solutions for different rooms and situations can be achieved. The light fixture is equipped with a radio module enabling to switch several Winglet exemplars in a series. For example, lights located along a corridor or in a staircase provide orientation light which turns on automatically when needed. Besides Winglet is equipped with a movement detector and a brightness detector. Lighting duration, light intensity and illumination duration during the night as well as the desired brightness threshold value can be individually adapted.
Depending on the brightness level, the battery lasts between 6 and 100 hours. When loaded Winglet CL can be recharged via UBS or with the aid of the Charging Basket loading station, allowing for charging up to five Winglet lights at the same time.
The magnetic wall fixation can be affixed with an adhesive pad or a screw and a dowel on the wall.
Please note that Winglet was designed for a use in dry inside rooms only (IP20).
