About the Collection Nimbus Force One
The Force One LED light by Nimbus offers task-light with direct and indirect lighting and meets the highest requirements in terms of light quality, design and functionality. The light fixture by Rupert Kopp is available in two versions: as a regular Force One floor lamp and as an even brighter Force One Power.
Because its operating technique is entirely lodged in the light base, structure and light head feature an appealing, especially slender and flat construction. The light stem takes an oblique position starting from the base and is additionally convex which makes possible to effortlessly push the light fixture close to the desk. The base disappears under the table and the light head reaches far over the working surface, which is perfectly illuminated.
The rectangular light head is made of aluminium. Its underside is flush with the Softlight diffuser of translucent acrylic glass. Its conical hollows feature especially smooth transitions in the surface. The emitted light is very even, glare-free and generously spread downwards. Additional LEDs on the surface of the light head provide indirect lighting. Both light sources are independently switchable and dimmable.
Force One and Force One Power have a presence and ambient light detection which automatically adapts the light's brightness to the lighting conditions in the room and deactivate the light when there is nobody in the room. Both functions can be separately activated or deactivated. It is also possible to adapt the brightness level to personal desires by continuously dimming the light. Force one is controlled with two switchs, both integrated in the light's structure.
Structure and light head are made of aluminium, the diffuser is made of acrylic glass and the base of powder-painted cast steel covered with a very shiny synthetic material.
