The lighting series DNA by next is another creation of German design duo Hopf&Wortmann. The extraordinary yet reduced design of the lamps is based on a simple element, which 'grows' organically similar to a biological DNA strand to build lamps of different size and shape. This threedimensional basic element made from very robust abs synthetics is optionally available in white, black, copper or chrome and builds the lamp's structure. Each element can be equipped with three round globe lamps that stray the light evenly in all directions. The DNA lighting series by next includes different versions of the pendant as well as wall and table lamps.
The rather vertical shape of pendant lamp DNA Quattro as described here consists of four elements and nine globe lamps. It requires high ceilings or can be used to illuminate seating areas.
