The Saori wall or ceiling lamp was designed in 1973 by the Japanese designer Kazuhide Takahama and is part of the Nemo Cassina Classici collection.
Takahama knows how to combine simple geometric forms to create an elegant lamp for diffuse general lighting. The square shape is accentuated by a diagonal arch and enveloped by translucent white stretch-fabric that assures a bright, glare-free illumination. The fabric is removable and washable. The frame of the lamp is made of metal and provides stability.
Saori is available in two sizes. Several lights can be combined to form large square areas. Longer strips of light can also be created by lining them up.
