Projecteur 165 Wall/Ceiling Light

Le Corbusier

The wall or ceiling lamp Projecteur 165 by Nemo
is made of lacquered aluminium and sanded glass.

Product details

The light Projecteur was designed by Le Corbusier in 1954 for the Indian town of Chandigarh and more especially for its Court. It has an appealing clear shape, well-balanced proportions and charming details, which are typical for industrial style.

Projecteur 165 is the smaller version of a light for wall and ceiling. The shade is connected to the wall socket by means of a U-shaped part, with the aid of screws and butterfly nuts to affix the shade in various directions.
The shade is made of lacquered aluminium and is closed by a convex glass diffuser which has been sanded inside. The simple shape and the black chrome-plated butterfly nuts stand out and confer a fascinating retro charm to the light Projecteur.
