The LED lamps Raimond by Moooi shine with mathematical precision and small LED light points. Raimond Puts originally created the design in 2009, but since 2021 it is available as the technologically revised Raimond II, providing a significantly brighter light with improved colour rendering and numerous dimming options. The collection includes several pendant lamps - shaped like a ball, a dome or an oval - and short floor lamps.
With their many light points arranged close together, the Raimond lamps are reminiscent of a bright starry sky. Their construction is characterized by strict geometrical and mathematical principles and the light points are arranged in a uniform pattern. Slender stainless steel strips are connected on two levels into a net, with small PMMA diffusers located where they cross.
The floor lamps Raimond II Tensegrity arrange the delicate diffuser on a short base composed of wooden beams and leather straps - as a homage to the tensegrity principle, where roles are used to hold a fragile construction in equilibrium.
