About the Collection Moooi Perch Light
The LED lights Perch Light by Moooi are reminiscent of small birds poising on branches and power lines. The collection comprises suspensions with three or five diffusers, a table lamp, a floor lamp and a wall lamp in two sizes. They were designed by the British designer Umut Yamac in 2016.
The diffusers are similar to small birds and are made of folded origami paper. At second sight, it appears that they can move on the metallic structure and bob when there are draughts. Because of the soft light, they appear lively and smooth in spite of their edgy, simple shape.
The integrated LEDs provide a soft light setting atmospherical accents, yet do not completely illuminate the room. The Perch Light lights are magical lighting sculptures that set accents above all in living rooms and bedrooms, in cafes and foyers and attract the attention.
The LED lights are made of polycarbonate and synthetic paper, steel and aluminium, while all the metallic parts come in brass. A matching coloured ceiling rose of metal and black cables complement the design.
