About the Collection Moooi Gravity Chandelier
The LED pendant lamp Gravity Chandelier by Moooi uses the force of gravity as a crucial part of the design. Paul Cocksedge created Gravity as a modern variation of a classical chandelier, complete with integrated LEDs, compatibility with Smart control and other dimming technologies and above all with a timelessly elegant design, allowing for much freedom for the arrangements of its arms.
The LED suspension sports five or seven lamp heads, which hang from the ceiling on thin, nearly invisible wires. They are connected with the round canopy via long cables, whose elegant curve is created only by gravity and their own weight. Depending on how far from the canopy the light heads are placed, their cable arms draw a curve that is gentle or dramatic, hang low or closer to the ceiling.
The lamp heads are cylindrical and consist of a black, powder-painted structure and a faceted glass diffuser. The canopy and the braided, flat cables are black so that Gravity Chandelier forms a visual unity and makes a strong and clear impression.
