About the Collection Moooi Farooo
The floor lamp Farooo by Moooi was designed by Marcel Wanders in 2012 and is available in three sizes. Its soft light is dimmable.
The cylindrical shade rests on a base, whose shape is reminiscent of turned wood furniture and chess pieces. Both elements form a monolithic whole, becoming a centre of calm in the living room or in the bedroom thanks to its formal clarity and uniform colour. The soft, dimmable light contributes to a cozy atmosphere.
The lamp's name refers to "faro" the Italian word for lighthouse. Just like with the brand name Moooi, the three O stand for extra quality.
Farooo's base is made of glass fibre and the shade of PVC/viscose laminate. The light is controlled via a gliding dimmer and switch on the black electrical cable.
