The dimmable LED suspension Chalice by Moooi is reminiscent of an opulent flower. Tulip-like glass shades are arranged around a metallic ball and decorated all around with floral patterns, so that a precious, complex ball is created. The metallized, half transparent glass lends Chalice a beautiful brilliance and reflects the light, creating a magical atmosphere and a diffuse illumination.
Chalice was designed in 2016 by Edward van Vliet and is available in two colours: with chromed metallic ball and copper coloured metallic glass or with dark grey powder-painted ball and silver coloured metallic glass. Further details of the light fixture are made of bakelite. The cable is transparent and the ceiling lamp is made of brushed steel.
