The LED suspensions Milana by Marset are a modern minimalistic design designed by Jaume Ramírez. The collection comprises suspensions with or without shade and with simple or adjustable suspension, characterizing the whole nature of the light fixture.
The light bodies are made of lacquered aluminium with a diffuser of polycarbonate. They are slender and cylindrical, available in sober black or white. Depending on the model, the cylindrical spotlight is a very minimalist light source or complemented with a broad, conical shade.
The Milana lights are each available with a simple, fixed suspension or as an adjustable Milana Counterweight. This is made possible with a fancy cable and a counterweight, adjusting the lights not only in height, but also laterally with a simple gesture. The suspension system itself is an eyecatcher and forms a charming geometrical whole with the light fixture and requires appropriate space in the room.
The suspensions provide downwards directed warm white light that is well-suited for the illumination of working surfaces, kitchen counters or dining tables. For slender counters, the light fixture with cylindrical light head is a good choice, while the versions with additional conical shade provide a broadly shining light and can serve above all over large tables.
The LEDs used have an especially warm white cozy light colour of 2700K and a very good colour rendering, thanks to which all the colour hues are reproduced naturally and precisely in the illuminated area. Meals and beverages seem appetizing, creative tasks are made easier and a pleasant and an overall welcoming atmosphere is created.
