Marset
Jaima Collection

Design by Joan Gaspar

The LED exterior lights Jaima by Marset create a living room atmosphere on balconies and terraces. The collection by Joan Gaspar comprises suspensions, floor lamps and wall lamps in diverse size, coming in atmospheric beige or grey. For the characteristical shades, Joan Gaspar uses outdoor-suitable, robust textile to achieve a cozy, emotional illumination.

The name refers to the North African Beduin tents with nearly vertical sides featuring a pointed roof, the shape of which is imitated by the light shades. They are made of synthetic fibre textile that is tear-resistant, flexible and translucent because of its woven structure. The two available colours both appear cozy and perfectly adapt to the exterior area. The inner side is always white, so that the light is as efficient as possible and is bright when reaching below. Some suspensions and light arms lend the large Jaima shades a floating appeal. The arms of the floor and wall lamps are slightly oblique, which makes the illumination of seating groups or balcony tables easier. A short connecting arm makes it possible to install the shade higher or deeper within a small area. The versions P307 also have a telescopic stem, height and extension of the lights can be modified.

The integrated LEDs are characterized by an especially warm white light colour and an outstanding colour rendering. Their light is cozy and welcoming, yet protects the environment because its warm white colour less disturbs nocturnal insects. The high shade prevents the light from glaring and spreads a pleasant mixture of direct and diffuse illumination.

The suspensions can be adjusted in height with a fancy trick, by clamping a separately available hook in the cable. Depending on how big the loop is, the cable is shorter and the shade is positioned higher.

On request, the floor lamps are also available with a stem for fixed floor installation.
