About the Collection Marset Jaima
The Jaima light collection by Marset is a creation by Joan Gaspar. The Spanish word "Jaima" means "Beduin tent" in the north African area and refers to the shape of the light's large and high textile shade.
The collection comprises suspensions, floor lamps and wall lamps with shades in three sizes and four colours, each as a version for exchangeable LED lamps or as a LED version for outdoor.
The textile shade is available in grey, beige, green and blue, while its inside is always white. The light shines mostly downwards, and passes diffusely through the shade, creating a cozy, mysterious illumination.
The structure is made of grey lacquered stainless steel. The floor and wall lamps' long, obliquely standing light shade can be effortlessly suspended over a balcon table or over a cozy seating corner.
Whether on the terrace, on the balcony, in living rooms or lounges, Jaima creates welcoming light islands and a wonderful atmosphere. The natural, earth hues and the simple, straightforward light shape, above all the archetypical, tent-like textile shade contribute to turn the indoor and outdoor areas lit by Jaima into havens of peace.
