The wireless LED table lamp FollowMe offers flexible lighting thanks to its rechargeable battery. The lamp was designed by Inma Bermúdez in 2014 and quickly became a bestseller and an icon in the Marset range.
FollowMe was awarded the Red Dot Design Award in 2016.
The lamp has a compact body made of polycarbonate with a 45° tiltable lampshade and integrated LEDs located inside a round diffuser. A wooden handle makes it possible to lift the lamp at any time and carry it to another place, and gives the design a homey touch that enhances the minimalist plastic body.
The light can be dimmed in three stages, with the battery running time at maximum brightness being 5 hours, at medium level 10 hours and at the lowest level 20 hours. FollowMe is switched and dimmed using a switch on the base. The USB port for charging the lamp is located on the back of the base. The charging time is approximately 10 hours.
In addition to the original version, the collection also includes the large version FollowMe Plus and, since 2019, four coloured versions of the small lamp. Here too, the handle is made of wood, but is painted in the respective colour of the plastic base.
The small lamp can be used as a reading light next to the bed, as an atmospheric lighting accent on a sideboard or as a gentle light source on the dining table. Thanks to its small shape, it easily fits anywhere. In contrast, FollowMe Plus is significantly larger and can also be placed on the floor or on the stairs.
Both lights are only intended for use in dry indoor areas.
