About the Collection Lumina Matrix
The Matrix collection by the Italian lighting manufacturer Lumina is based on a design by Yaacov Kaufmann from 2000.
The ingenious construction of the Matrix lights consists of one or more light arms made of stainless steel, which are arranged as a star around the suspension or the wall mounting and are flexibly adjustable. The lamp arms carry sockets for E27 lamps, which remain completely visible and provide light in all the directions. Matrix is available as a Matrix Doppia pendant lamp with 16 lamps, as a Matrix Otto with eight lamps or as a Matrix wall and ceiling lamp and produces an enormous radiance despite its puristic appearance.
The light sources in the form of LED lamps or halogen bulbs are the main protagonists of the Lumina Matrix lights. The choice of its shape, transparency and performance allows you to influence the appearance and function of the Matrix depending on your taste and your own needs. If you want to prevent glare, it is advisable to use matt light sources, for example. Thanks to the adjustable arms, the Matrix lights are also versatile and adaptable to individual needs.
The 16-armed Matrix Doppia chandelier is an eye-catching design object for lighting in large living rooms, atriums, foyers or open spaces of contemporary style as well as in common areas such as hotel lobbies, galleries or exhibition rooms, while the Matrix Mono wall or ceiling light discreetly integrates into every living room or passage room.
