About the Collection Louis Poulsen Panthella Portable
The Panthella Portable rechargable table lights complement the iconic Panthella collection, designed by Verner Panton in 1971. The original version with opaline white acrylic shade was followed in 2016 by the smaller Panthella Mini with metallic shade.
Since 2020, Panthella is available in a cableless version with integrated battery and was conceived for the interiors. For this reason, Panthella Portable is both functional and very decorative at the same time. In spring 2022, Louis Poulsen introduced Panthella Portable V2 with improved technical properties and IP44 protection class for outdoor use.
Panthella is famous for its softly curved shape. The hemispherical shade is harmoniously complemented with a slender, trumpet-like base of lacquered aluminium. Panthella Portable has an opaline white acrylic shade through which the light shines softly, while the shade of Panthella Portable Metal made of cast aluminium, directs the light downwards.
With integrated battery and dimmable, glare-free LED light, Panthella Portable illuminates every room and sets a pleasant, stylish note on the table, on the window sill, on the shelf and anywhere else. The light fixture does not require a current source and is deprived of a disturbing cable. The battery is located in the light fixture's base.
The switch is located directly on the base and makes it possible to dim the light in stages (0% / 10% / 33% / 100%). The battery operation-time is of 5 hours maximum at highest light intensity. The delivery includes a 1,5 meter USB cable without adapter for reloading the battery.
