Lodes
Flar Collection

Design by Patrick Norguet

The design of the Flar table lamp by Lodes is signed by the designer Patrick Norguet who already conceived the Jim collection for Lodes. The table lamp available in two sizes complements the Italian design label's portfolio since 2022.

The Name Flar is derived from the French "flamboiement" which means an intense and suddenly flaring light. The design is inspired by traditional storm lanterns and for this reason, the Flar light's light source is surrounded by a glass shade. The voluminous, convex shade of coloured, blown glass filters the light and the special tubular lamp (not included in the scope of delivery) screwed in a E27 base lends Flar the appearance of a modern candle. The glass shade leads to a base of laser-cut 3D metal which opens to the top like a flower and holds the glass shade. The contrast between the precisely cut metallic base and the hand-made glass shade gives the Flar table lamp its unique character.

Flar Large has a size of no less than 62,5 cm, and when placed on the floor, can show its full decorative potential or impresses on generously sized window sills and sideboards. With a height of 47 cm, the Flar Medium occupies somewhat less space. Two or more Flar table lamps in diverse colour combinations placed next to each other can enrich creatively decorated hotel lobbies or commercial spaces with individuality and flamboyance.
