The Cage Small and Cage Large suspensions by Diesel for Lodes impress with a decorative and extraordinary design. The diffuser of blown glass surrounded by a grid of lacquered metal is the design's main focus. The contrast between the delicate blown glass of the elegant, shiny diffuser and the steel grid's hardness evokes a vintage charm.
The idea behind this design comes from the mining lamps used by miners. Whether in glamorous white, elegant black or refined bronze, the Cage suspension always seems unique. It provides direct and diffuse light in a pleasant manner, creating a pleasant illumination in the room. The diffuser's bronze version produces a particular effect: when the light is turned off, the steel grid is reflected by the shiny glass surface, and when the light is on, this reflection fades away and the glass' colour creates a warm, welcoming light.
