Kundalini
Nami Collection

Design by Alberto Saggia & Valerio Sommella

Nami is a Japanese word meaning "wave". Waves' shapes can be seen in the Nami lights by the designers Alberto Saggio and Valerio Sommella for Kundalini.

The long Nami suspension has a metallic structure, optionally covered with brass or lacquered in black. It supports an upwards bent glass diffuser which has the same appearance as corrugated sheet because of its fluting. As a design object, it speaks by itself with a shape of even higher quality than the material.

There is an embedded LED board inside the Nami lights' diffusers, which provides warm white light, directed downwards. The light passes diffusely into the room through the bent diffuser's glass. The Nami suspension by Kundalini is suitable above dining tables and serves as a reliable, appealing light source in offices and conference rooms. Since 2020, Nami has also been available as a wall lamp that follows the same design principle as the Kundalini collection.
