About the Collection Kundalini Kushi
The popular light creation by Alberto Saggia and Valerio Sommella for Kundalini includes ceiling, pendant, table and floor lamps. A portable rechargeable table lamp complements the collection.
Kushi is a fancy jewel in the shape of an apple that emits a diffuse, warm white light. The diffuser made of two-layer, blown glass imitates the typical round shape of an apple. A small metallic rod, representing the stem, grows out of the hollow on its upper side. It is an apple with perfect symmetry, minimalistic but emotional. This is true art in design: objects that are simple and evocative at the same time, that appear minimalistic, but can still be effectively integrated into the room.
The subtle structure of the light fixture and the stem in the diffuser's middle are made of metal and are glossy lacquered, optionally in brass, copper or black. Filigree metallic rods break through the spherical diffusers of the Kushi floor lamp version and serve as feet. Permanently installed LEDs are located in the diffusers of the Kushi floor and emit warm white light of 2700K. The large Kushi XL lights can be equipped with E27 lamps.
The white diffusers made of two-layer opaline glass scatter the light diffusely and provide atmospheric room light. Because of its unconventional design, Kushi is almost predestined for modern and contemporary interiors, but also represents a skillful break in style in more traditional living environments.
