Kartell
Kabuki Collection

Design by Ferruccio Laviani

Kabuki by Kartell - beauty in lace dress: at first sight the Kartell Kabuki LED lights have more the appearance of works of art than of light fixtures. The slender, curved body of the floor lamps are reminiscent of an actress wearing a lace dress at a gala. The neo baroque style emphasizes the artistic aura of a light that seems made by hand. But this is Kartell, a manufacturer with the highest skills in plastics processing. Kartell Kabuki is surely a work of art, but one industrially made of plastics. Only Kartell is able of such a technological refinement and can create with synthetics a seemingly immaterial surface that turns into an exquisite eyecatcher in every interior, whether private, commercial or public.

Kabuki by Kartell is made of transparent or coloured thermoplastic polymer dyed in the mass and the small version Mini Kabuki is made of sustainable polycarbonate 2.0 consisting of durable materials. The Mini Kabuki may be called "Mini" but with its 70 cm of height, it counts among the taller table lamps and is perfectly suited for sideboards and side tables in the living room or bedroom.

The floor lamps'dimmer is located under the head, directly under the light source. The name "Kabuki" is borrowed from the Japanese and designates the traditional theater of the Edo period. This inspiration generated a collection with diva character - unique, extravagant and eccentric.
