About the Collection IP44.de Solar Join
The Solar Join light system by IP44.de makes it possible to supply up to four solar lamps with electricity using a single high-performance solar panel. This way, the garden and terrace can be enriched with unique lighting concepts without the need for a power connection.
The collection includes several lamp models with different lighting effects and each with their own design. They are spike lights that can be placed on unpaved green spaces, in flower beds and planters, and whose position can be changed at any time with no effort. Depending on the model, they provide adjustable direct lighting accents, diffuse illumination or direct light for garden paths, allowing for the creation of numerous, individual lighting situations.
All lamps feature an twilight function, which automatically turns the light on in the evening and turns it off after 5 hours. This also prevents the light from being accidentally left on all night, limiting their potential for contributing to the problem of light pollution.
In other respects, too, Solar Join is an extremely environmentally friendly garden illumination, as it does not require a connection to the power grid thanks to photovoltaics. High-quality materials and a high degree of protection also make them resilient and durable, so that they can accompany their owner for as long as possible. Its modular design makes it easy to adapt the lighting concept to new conditions, even completely redesigned outdoor areas or new locations after a move.
Solar Join also demonstrates environmental awareness in terms of lighting technology: The LEDs have a warm white colour temperature of 2700K, which studies have shown to be particularly insect-friendly: Since the light spectrum has only a small blue component, it can be barely perceived by nocturnal insects and has little influence on their orientation, for which they use the light of the moon.
The power of the PV panel is distributed evenly to all connected lamps. A maximum of four luminaires per panel is possible. A second panel cannot be added.
Two sunny days with approx. 10 hours of sunshine from the south are required to fully charge the panel. In the darker months of the year, when the sun is low, and in bad weather, the solar panel produces less energy, and the operating time of the luminaire group decreases accordingly.
When fully charged, the battery provides light for 15 hours, i.e. for about three evenings.
All luminaires and the solar panel are equipped with a 1 m long cable. With the help of extension cables, the lamps can be placed at a maximum distance of ten meters around the panel. Greater distance should be avoided because of power loss.
Extension cables and ports for connecting multiple lamps are available as accessories. Extension cables are available in lengths of 2, 4 and 8 m, ports are available for two, three or four lamps.
