About the Collection IP44.de Piek Lettura
The LED floor lamps Piek Lettura by IP44.de provide comfortable reading light for outdoor areas. The collection includes the normal version as well as a version with a Casambi controller on the power cable. The design comes from Sebastian David Büscher.
The lamps consist of a rod made of powder-coated stainless steel and a cylindrical lamp head made of powder-coated cast aluminium with a clear glass cover. A heavy base made of powder-coated cast iron gives the light a secure footing and pleases with a playful design idea: To achieve different angles of inclination, the lamp rod is simply inserted differently into the specially shaped hole in the base. In combination with the continuously tiltable lamp head, this means that the reading light can be precisely directed.
In order to further change the light effect and the appearance of the lamp, three optical attachments are optionally available. They can be exchanged in just a few simple steps and are available separately and individually. The Cover S changes the appearance of the lamp head and the Cover C with honeycomb optics makes the light absolutely glare-free. The Piek Cover L is an optical lens that continuously adjusts the focus of the light beam. This transforms the luminaires from atmospheric, wide-beam floodlights into precisely concentrated reading light. The covers are also made of powder-coated cast aluminium and are available in the same colours as the lamps.
The Piek Lettura Controller version offers even more possibilities. Here, a Casambi module is attached to the power cable and allows the light to be effortlessly switched on and off and dimmed using a smartphone or tablet.
Power is supplied via a long plug cable, so Piek Lettura can be used anywhere on large terraces and balconies. With IP65, it is protected against moisture and dust.
