About the Collection IP44.de Lin
The LED bollard lights Lin by IP44.de are rectiniliear columns with lamellae that direct the light diagonally downwards. The collection includes models in two sizes, three colours and for three different mounting and connection methods. Lin Spike and Lin Base are movable lamps with a plug cable, the forner with a ground spike, the latter with a base plate for mounting on solid ground. Lin Poller features a small base and is intended for direct connection and permanent installation.
The body is made of powder-coated cast aluminium and has the shape of a simple, slender cuboid. One side is almost completely taken up by the diffuser, which achieves a special lighting effect and elegant look with a mixture of glass diffuser and lamellar grid. The metal slats are aligned in such a way that the light shines diagonally downwards and illuminates the ground over a large area. This way, broad paths, flower beds, terraces and driveways are effectively illuminated without dazzling. The light is concentrated in the desired direction, avoiding unnecessary light pollution. The warm white light colour of the integrated LEDs is not only pleasant for people, but also takes nature and wildlife into account: Nocturnal insects notice the reddish light spectrum of the 2700K diodes less than cooler tones, which means the light does not disturb their sense of orientation.
With their functional, archetypal design, the Lin LED lamps suit any architectural style, fit in private gardens and in public spaces, and can be used effectively as a single piece or in groups. In addition to the two heights and three subtle colors, there are also three different mounting types o choose from, meant for different environments and expectations.
With the movable lamps, a 5 meter long power cable ensures a large operating radius. Lin Spike offers the greatest flexibility as its position can be changed at any time without tools. It is suitable for unpaved surfaces such as lawns or flower beds. Lin Base, on the other hand, is intended for solid ground and is fixed to the ground with screws, so changing location is somewhat more complex. But in both cases, the electric supply occurs via a simple wall plug. The power cable runs above ground.
The version for permanent installation, Lin Bollard, is adventageous in large outdoor environments. Since the electric supply is underground, there are no unsightly power cables in the driveway, on the terrace or on the lawn, and the wall plugs remain free. Should the desired lighting concept ask for multiple bollard lamps, for example flanking long paths, through-wiring is an option. This way, several lamps can be supplied via a single power source and are controlled together. The required PG fitting is included.
The Lin lamps are protected against moisture and dust (IP65) and are suitable for permanent outdoor use. In order for the lights to have a secure hold, the correct type of mounting must be chosen based on the location, and an upright position must be assured. Drainage may be necessary.
