Dia Collection

The LED outdoor lights Dia by IP44.de reinterpret the classic lantern. In the design by Sebastian David Büscher, modern simplicity meets high-quality materials and sophisticated lighting technology. The collection includes two wall lamps and a bollard lamp, each available in two metal tones.

A linear, rectangular frame made of powder-coated cast aluminium holds the rounded cylindrical diffuser made of hand-blown glass. The acrylic rod appears to float inside the glass diffuser and mysteriously glows with the light of the integrated warm white LEDs. Since the glass shade is connected to the metal frame only at the top, its light shines in all directions. However, the wall lamps feature a metal structure with horizontal metal panes that shield the light and throw shadows against the wall. The wall lamp Dia uses two plates, at the top and bottom, while Dia F uses only one upper pane, allowing the light to shine downwards. The bollard lamp similarly shields the light upward and toward the back, which makes it perfect for a gentle direct illumination along terraces, driveways and garden paths.

is partially shielded upwards and to the rear, making it particularly well-suited for purposeful but gentle lighting next to terraces, driveways or garden paths.

The glass body is smoke-coloured, which softens the light in an atmospheric way. The metal structure is powder-coated in either anthracite grey or black, allowing the lamp to discreetly fade into the background especially at dusk or in the dark.

The LEDs have a particularly warm white light colour, which is not only perceived as pleasant and cozy by humans, but also has an insect-friendly effect, since the reddish light spectrum is perceived less strongly by nocturnal insects and thus does not disturb their orientation.
