About the Collection Ingo Maurer Willydilly

The pendant light Willydilly spreads downward directed and diffuse light, is height-adjustable and can take up diverse shapes. It was designed in 1983 by Ingo Maurer.

The light shade is made of white cardboard. It is wrapped around the lamp like a spiral, yet the shade's shape is determined by the owner. A clip of fluorescent, transparent synthetics serves to affix and a metallic spiral inside ensures the necessary distance between shade and lamp. The cable runs in a loop through a drilling on the ceiling rose, made of white synthetics and has the shape of an oblique cone. To adjust the light fixture in height, the loop is pulled larger or smaller.

Willydilly spreads glare-free, downward directed light and is suitable as a light source over tables and seating groups in corridors and living rooms of all kinds. Because of its variable shape with individual light and shadow interplay, when arranged in groups or rows it produces a natural overall impression with a playful, creative touch.
