About the Collection Ingo Maurer Oh Mei Ma
The elegant pendant lights Oh Mei Ma were created in 1997 by Ingo Maurer and his team. The collection includes the LED pendant light Oh Mei Ma and the larger Oh Mei Ma Kabir, each available in white or gilded versions. A version in silver is available on request.
The pendant lamps feature a shade made of six thin sheets, either made of paper covered with gold-leaf or of lacquered metal with a structured white finish. A plumb pendant made of Plexiglass is suspended at this construction' centre. It has the shape of a ball in the white version and that of a cone in the gold version. The LEDs are located in a flat, square element, hanging below the light fixture. They direct their light upwards where it is reflected by the paper or metallic plates. A blue LED projects an additional soft coloured accent on the ceiling.
