About the Collection Ingo Maurer Lacrime del Pescatore

The pendant light Lacrime del Pescatore is a poetic lighting object with glittering effects. It was created in 2009 by Ingo Maurer as an homage to his home on Lake Constance. He drew inspiration from fisher nets, wetted with water droplets glistening in sunlight. Every gentle breeze makes the nets move and the crystals sparkle marvellously. The light is emitted by a simple wall spotlight, yet Lacrime del Pescatore sparkles also in the sunlight or light originating from any other source.

The pendant lamp consists of three nylon nets of different sizes, adorned with 385 crystals. Each is suspended at four suspension points under the ceiling or stretched between ceiling and walls, so that diverse positions and shapes are possible.

The light is provided by a separate, directable spotlight with functional design, mounted on the wall and connected to the wall socket with a cable with plug. It is also available separately under the name Use Me W. Alternatively a ceiling spot called Use Me C. can be used.
