About the Collection Ingo Maurer Knitterling

The pendant light Knitterling was created in 1978 by Ingo Maurer. Its large paper shade provides pleasant diffuse light and downwards directed light, suitable for the illumination of tables in living and dining rooms. The conical shade is made of Japanese paper that is voluntarily slightly creased to create a soft appearance with interesting light and shadow effects. The shade is made by hand in Munich. Optionally the shade's underside has a paper cover, featuring a round hole in the middle. Synthetic ceiling rose and electrical cable are black.

The lamp is not suited for rooms with high humidity.
