The unique wall lamp Holonzki was created in 2000 by Ingo Maurer and Eckhard Knuth. It presents the hologram of a light bulb, which constitutes a magical accent.
Optical illusion, true homage: Holonzki is an innovative wall light that reproduces the aesthetics of a classic incandescent light bulb - but as a hologram, projected onto a glass plate.
At first sight, one might think that there is a real light bulb behind the glass, shimmering through. But the bulb turns out to be an illusion. A reflector lamp, held above and in front of the glass plate by a long metal arm, provides the necessary light.
This artful homage to the traditional light bulb is also a clever technological innovation, and the result of a complex production process.
The wall light is operated with a pull switch and is supplied with electricity via a black textile cable and a wall plug.
Please note that the hologram must be protected from direct sunlight and from nicotine.
