The LED spotlights Studio by GRAU are elegant high-performance lamps for walls and ceilings. Designed by Tobias Grau, the collection includes single spots for recessed or surface mounting, a double spotlight and a triple spotlight that arranges its three reflectors in a row.
The Studio LED spotlights follow a cubic, minimalist design language with softly rounded corners and an overall very clear design. The reflector heads are flat, square and connected to the canopy by an arm bent at a right angle. The canopy, arm and heads are made of aluminium, optionally with a satin or polished finish. In contrast, the underside of the lamp heads is either black or white. A round glass lens, located in the centre, focusses the light of the high-quality LEDs and directs it in one direction at an angle of 41°. Each reflector can be rotated and swiveled by up to 270°, so that bespoke lighting concepts are possible.
Depending on the size of the room, its layout and the required lighting, individual Studio spotlights can be installed or multiple units can be arranged as desired. Depending on their orientation, the reflectors emit direct light for targeted accents or general room lighting or indirect light that is reflected from the wall or ceiling.
The LEDs are optionally available with neutral white 3500K or with a warm white light colour and Warm Dim (2700-2200K). The neutral white light is suitable for offices and commercial businesses where bright and clear lighting is preferred. The warm white variant is intended for living areas or gastronomical spaces where a cozy and inviting light is desired. The Warm Dim function allows the light to become warmer when dimmed down, coming close to the effect of traditional incandescent lamps. A high colour rendering index ensures that textures and colour nuances appear accurate and natural, which is an advantage in work and living areas alike.
