About the Collection Fritz Hansen Maluma
The Maluma suspension by Fritz Hansen is an enchanting creation by the designer Fumie Shibata. With a mixture of diffuse and direct lighting, it is perfectly suitable as a table illumination in dining and living rooms, in cafes and restaurants. At the same time is sets unique coloured accents, even when the light is turned off.
The diffuser consists of blown, coloured glass. The light shines diffusely through the matt surface and, depending on the colour hue, in a subdued way into the room. Some of the light passes directly downwards through a hole in the diffuser and illuminates table surfaces and counters directly.
The suspension consists of anodized aluminium in the same colour as the diffuser. A textile covered electrical cable stylishly complements the design.
Because the glass diffusers are made by hand, it is possible that they have small air inclusions and other irregularities. Each light fixture turns into a unique handcrafted piece.
The textile cable is black (versions Plum, Moss) and grey (version Rose). The ceiling rose is black (Plum, Moss) and white (Rose).
