Fritz Hansen
Concert Collection

The Concert light fixture by Fritz Hansen was designed by the Danish architect and designer Jørn Utzon, and is reminiscent of his most famous work, the Sydney Opera House.

Concert is available in two sizes and is well suited for the glare-free illumination of dining tables and kitchen counters.

The light fixture combines four shades and a parabolic reflector into a fascinating and complex shape. The shades are made of lacquered metal and rest on an inner element of satined glass. The unusual construction generates a light that is always glare-free, regardless of the viewing angle or the height of suspension. The lower reflector directs the light upwards where it shines between the reflectors and is reflected by them.

The Fritz Hansen Concert suspension appeals with the sophisticated clarity of its shape, with harmonious proportions and a certain resemblance to the Sydney Opera House. It seems to be both futuristic and familiar, with a Scandinavian touch, making it compatible with different interior styles. It makes a strong design statement in modern apartments, and brings delight especially to fans of modern architecture.

Cleaning instructions by the manufacturer: Wipe off the dust with dry soft cloth. Remove the stains with soft cloth dampened in lukewarm water with a mild detergent. The cloth must be wrung out. Do not use detergents containing abrasives or solvents.
