About the Collection Foscarini Satellight
The Satellight collection's fascinating design by Foscarini was designed by Eugeni Quitllet's creative hand and plays with expectations.
The Satellight lights' elegance results from the clear shape and the refined interplay of light and transparency. The spherical diffuser provides warm white light which is distributed through the transparent glass shade. The latter has the appearance of a dome and is laid like a cloth over the diffuser. It seems that there is a luminous ball floating in the room like the moon in the night sky. The Satellight collection's simple design is easily understandable yet profound.
Because of the glass diffuser's satined surface, the Satellight lights by Foscarini have the appearance of balls floating in the room also when the light is turned off. When on, the light is soft, warm and diffusely distributed, while the suspension and wall lamp additionally provide downward light through the hole. For the viewer, the light is always glare-free.
